# Bowen Island Daikin Altherma to IBC HPX retrofit

A Daikin Altherma system on Bowen Island, replaced with an IBC HPX heat pump and
IBC SuperFlow on a new mechanical wall. Here is the system before and after.

### Mechanical closet

Before⌊Before: the old closet with a tank and PP-R piping⌉

After⌊After: full black mechanical wall with Argosy buffer tank, IBC boiler and 
blue pressure tank⌉

Before⌊Before: old closet with a water heater, filter, blue pressure tank and orange
fire sprinkler pipe⌉

After⌊After: right side of the new wall with the IBC boiler and blue pressure tank⌉

Before⌊Before: Daikin Altherma indoor unit with a Grundfos pump and green PP-R piping⌉

After⌊After: black mechanical wall with Argosy buffer tank, expansion tank, IBC 
controls and condensate neutralizer⌉
